SFSG during direct action in A'stan
19 August, 2013, 09:43
hello there!
this is my lastest asset, a member of SFSG, before an operation, in Afghanistan. the asset has some inaccuracy, expecially for the rifles' accessories, because I needed my L119 in night setup (so I've changed the ACOG with an Aimpoint, it was better an Eo-Tech...).
Also, there is some "poetic license", like some DDPM pouches, or other stuffs that I don't see in the ref pic.
ok, some photos:
a couple of photos with a member of 75th Ranger:
Ref. pic.:
Kitlist:
- 5.11 baseball cap, tan
- Issued UBACS, DDPM
- Issued DDPM lightweight trousers
- 5.11 duty belt, black
- Blackhawk! Industries knee pads, black
- Issued Nomex gloves, tan
- Warrior Assault System R.I.C.A.S.:
- Issued MOLLE mag pouches, DDPM
- Issued MOLLE med. pouch, DDPM
- WAS Utility, OD
- WAS Radio pouch, OD
- TEA PTT*
- Bowman*
Weapon:
- L119A1 SFW*, with Aimpoint*, SF Scout light, An/Peq 2*
* Are replica!

I think that reference pic might be a Czech. The pattern on the DDPM looks a bit off for Brit issue and the Czech's wear a very similar pattern.

Yes. The Czechs wear a 2 colour DDPM pattern that ours is actualkly based off of, and as jelliffe99 said, they like the WAS kit.

too easy man...now tell who he is, or it never happens!
I took this photo on militaryphotos and he was accredited like a SFSG. now show your proof that he isn't...

Militaryphotos is just another forum so to be honest that doesn't make it a reliable source unless of course there is another source on there but just saying its from militaryphotos and the guys said it was SFSG isn't proof

So you have as much proof he is SFSG as there is proof he isn't.

Re: SFSG during direct action in A'stan
Looking at the photo it could well have just been private purchase kit on a regular soldier. Back in the days they were allowed to buy their own kit.
