    What is is in/on the arm pocket?

    Hi there

    I was always wondering, what is that black stripe on the velcro patch on the soldiers arm nect to their regimental badge? as circuled on the
    Is it part of a quick first aid bandage or something?

    Combat Application Tourniquet...Also known as a CAT Tourniquet...
    Used to stop catastrophic bleeds.
