British Molle setup/ combat gear setup etc...
17 February, 2012, 22:16
hey guys been looking on google for pictures of british troops with Mark 2 or mark 3 osprey body armour with molle pouches but cant seem to find any can anyone PM me a picture or link one on here.
basicly i want to creat a authenic british loadout and i'm not sure what pouches their using and were they're putting them + those little extras like patches and badges
also do they use dump bags or drop leg pouches?
my plan is this
MTP UBACS
MTP trousers
MTP combat smock for cold weather ofc :D
Magnum boots
Osprey Mark2 body armour
MK6 helmet with scrim netting and cats eye
PVS7 Mount
V2 knee pads
OD Belt
Patches on osprey and UBACS and then ofc the Molle pouches
i was going to do something like this setup for the osprey
3 open mag ammo pouches on the front
1 admin pouch top middle
1 dougle mag closed top pouch on the right hand side
1 small utility pouch on the left hand side
1 foldaball dump bag attatched to the front of the utility pouch

Re: British Molle setup/ combat gear setup etc...
Sounds good!
Leg rigs are generally unpopular because they can flap around and get in the way of lying down, but don't rule it out all together, by any means.
As for your pouches, you want any combination of issued, Blackhawk!, and Warrior.
And I'd leave the Admin pouch off, too. Fill the upper chest area with things like Sharpies, paintbrushes, medical shears etc.
Pic of pouches on Osprey, with various setups.
Hope that helps!!
