Re: israeli special forces
don't be tempted by a full scale deagle, from what I'v heard only the tank commanders use them, and even then they have a holster built into the tank for them.
from what I'v heard they use armalites, but I can't see why they wouldn't use AKs too if it demanded it ...
from what I'v seen they aren't against using a pair of tennis racquets

Re: israeli special forces
I'm looking at doing a IDF Loadout myself.
Currently I have in the shopping basket are;
Marom Dolphin Special Forces Tactical Vest,
IDF OD Fatigues.
MITCH Helemt with Black/OD Bands.
M4A1 with Black/OD Bands on grip/Mags + a few FAB Defence bits for the M4.
What do you guys reckon?
Cheers, Steve

Looking at getting a FAB Torch/Grip and either getting an Aimpoint or may just use my Eotech, also a 4x ACOG for a Marksman M4.

Re: israeli special forces
I really wouldnt recommend the FAB pistol torch grip or the FAB speedlight, I thought they were pretty shoddily made tbh. The speedlight was designed for the grip, but it hardly worked.

Ahh, thats for the heads up Dave, I shall steer clear! Any Grip/Torch thing you could reccomend?
Also looking at one of those Railed Handguards on Zahal, quite fancy one as I prefer those over a RAS.
@ Terry -
Honestly, I'm not sure, just looking at some of the Photos on the net and had one of those "Oh, quite fancy that!" moments. I do know that its the Golani forces that Ive been looking at.

Re: israeli special forces
tbh a lot of the fab stuff is excellent (their torch mounts, slings etc), I just think the speedlight is a bit naff and the torch grip is trying to be too clever and just doesnt work very well.
