Book of Eli/Walking Dead Survivor inspired
26 September, 2014, 11:39
After some Google image surfing found this image and like the idea of a Book of Eli/Walking Dead style loadout.
Jungle Boots, Dutch Air Force Combat pants, British Army tan shirt, US Night Desert Camo Parka, generic OD Boonie, with load bearing gear comprised of battered old Pattern 58 webbing with some old eastern bloc pouches, M56 Pistol mag pouch, random leather pistol holster, old machete scabbard slung on the back and a salvaged MP40. The whole thing needs some roughing and dirtying up, and bar a few add-on accessories to make it totally complete I'm pretty happy with it.

A sawn off shotgun hanging from the belt would look the dogs danglies with your kit
Lady Astor (first woman MP in the House of Commons): "Mr Churchill, if you were my husband, I'd put poison in your tea."
Winston (getting unsteadily to his feet): "Madam, if I were your husband ... I'd drink it."

I like these kind of load outs, don't see enough of them. Funky imagination > MTP
I wouldn't trust you unsupervised around kids though.

I'm trustworthy ..... got plenty of sweets and a yard full of puppies.
I prefer bodged loadouts ... much cheaper and far more distinctive than the masses of Spec Ops, Uber-leet kit that graces most skirmishes. Not that there's anything wrong with uber-leet kit of course ... I just don't have the cash or inclination to go down that route.

Could be my next purchase ..... get it all wrapped up in sniper tape so it looks well used.
