Making a battle armour suit
9 September, 2010, 20:51
Anyone got any good ideas?
Using bike mud-flaps for armour on my arms, sprayed up and looking battle-worn, that sort of stuff?

Re: Making a battle armour suit
There is a site that sells British Military surplus kit that also deals in ex-police stuff. They have riot armour on there - leg or arm, five quid for each set.

Imagine an airsoft version of Samus' arm cannon thingy. Tennis balls at 350fps :D
TS, look into Motocross body armour, you can get a pretty nice Crysis style look with that kinda gear (damn, I might have to do a Crysis loadout now)

Whatever you do, do not trust Cardboard boxes. A good friend of mine made this mistake when he tried to turn up to a halloween party as a Transformer...
It ended...so badly...

Re: Making a battle armour suit
I've got a set of 2mm ABS Boba Fett chest armour that I'm putting together for a Star Wars mandalorian based airsoft loadout.
I'll be posting pics of it when it's all cobbled together......
