Well, and no offenceto B.E.N., the Ai article wasn't the best. I was expecting far more as discussed above, but, in summary, it just discussed the game, which given it has been out for a few months now was a bit of a filler, then talking about 5.11 as a company.
The pics weren't bad but the article should have been so much better. That and this months issue wasn't very well proof read-quite a few spelling errors!

It never is, I'd proof read it for free for them because it gets embarrassing to read sometimes.

I'm no stranger to the standard of proofing in the mag. I only work for Ai on a freelance basis as a photographer, with the occasional bit of writing in print, and on the blog.

I have started taking an active role in helping to re-read sections, and if I get time to, I re-read and correct everything I can. Hopefully there has been a marginal improvement in the last couple of issues? Anyone that frequents this forum might have noticed I try and keep up a reasonable standard at all times, and I do take pride in it.

Any further feedback would be gladly received. If you want to drop me a PM, feel free to do so.

heya guys sorry to bring a dead thread back to life but ive recently become interested in just this. thats right i use the search function :P (i think with a bit more growth of the old beard i could pull this off :D haha). was wondering if he was using a high rise mount on his comp4 and also do the real aimpoint comp4's have a Lazer on the side?

also where could i get one of those front gas block mounted sights from? dont spose z1 do em at all?

The front sight everyone is on about, I have one on my M4 ( King Arms VLTOR M4 VIS ) that came with it stock. The guy that said near the beginning of the thread that it is a Magpul MBUS is wrong, as they go mounted on the rail. The sight in question actually mounts onto the barrel. Hope I have been of some help

sorry to sink your battle ship dude but i think you may be mistaken on the vltor sight. your right its a gas block sight but its not the vltor one. its a knights armament company one. how can i tell? because you can actually see the locking latch jutting up from the contour of the sight in its down position in the tier 1 pic above.

Its cool knew it wasn't a VLTOR sight, just something very similar. You knocked it right on the head with that one, well done!

ive been cast for the new medal of honor! haha :D
after the amount of people who said i look like him, after taking a pic of myself today on my phone i started to believe them :P so roughly threw it on the background

heres the look so far what you guys reckon. i will be getting a compm4 to finish the deal. and hopefully one of those kac front sights
