tommy m1928
bright scarf
kit im not so sure about
webbing, gaiters
any help regarding these 2 would be appreciated
think its good idea anyone?

well the webbing would be standard 1937 pattern webbing with binocular pouches... or at least they look like the binocular pouches i think they were specially made for the home guard, there deffinatly not what the frontline troops or airborne were using.
for gaiters i believe they were wearing putties rarther than gaiters as it was a simple strip of woolen cloth, but its been a while since i watched dads army if your looking for that "authentic" look. in terms of historical i belive putties would be fine
i'll see if i can dig out that pic i had of the binocular pouches

the belts dont look like the 37 ones they look more like leather and thats why im struggling with the belt

The belts are 39 pattern and the pouches are binocular pouches. They couldn't get any BAR pouches so they used them instead. Ironically I think the bino pouches are harder to find these days.

, there's a whole section for WW2 Home Guard uniform and webbing. I'd have a look on their site.
