CRYSIS 2 loadout

[PROJECT 28X]

Hey everyone, I recently got crysis 2, as I'm an avid gamer when I'm not airsofting... I find the 2 go very much hand in hand. Anyway as I loved the game so much and using the whole range of guns and weapons I started thinking to my self are any of these guns real or not?

Obviously the microwave cannon and electric smg are fantasy but I was thinking that the other guns like the sniper and shotgun may be based on real guns.

I figured the clothing of the marines is just standard USMC gear, and as for the C.E.L.L guys, well they are typical armoured guys from sci fi shooters.

Anyway, im really only interested in the guns so i thought id throw it at the forum,

the electric smg i think looks like the vector smg so it may be a little loosely based on that

The easiest to do would obviously be the Grendel, since it's just a Masada with a silencer and bigger mag :P

The sniper rifle in Crysis 2 is a DSG-1, not a DSR.

You could probably make one out of a DSR but it'd be a hell of a job.

seeing as no real gun is called the dsg1

its dsr now haha

no gun in crysis 2 is a obvious copy of a gun

the DSG 1 IS a DSR, look at the overal shape of it, they just removed the rear magazine made it longer and added some alien like curves to it.
