I totally agree, just finished 2nd the layer of fiberglass. Got to drill some new mouth and nose holes and sand down a few areas then repaint. No custom paint jobs just back to dull black and then highlight the raised areas with dull silver or gun metal grey.

Have now painted the mask, had to re do it a couple of times to get the effect I was after.
Now thinking about a little bit of grey/silver over the shoulder pads to match the mask.

Done a bit more work to the neck guard, soft fabric on the back covering the foam and a few pop buttons below velcro. Got a black t shirt and a breathable sports t shirt to try as i think its gonna be hot! Here's some pics of it all together. Hopefully be able to give a skirmish report after a game on Saturday.

Really would like to go, ill check the calender and the bank and see how baby is going nearer the time. Might see you there. Think it would do the loadout justice

Skirmished tested at contact front on Saturday, all worked very well. Went for a vented sports t shirt as it was pretty dam hot! Plus got a grenade launcher which I think does it justice.
