Let's face it, it's going to happen.

Just would like some feedback from some of the WW2 guys for appropriate gear, and possible replica sites to buy it from.

its ok to laugh it was my fancy dress for my friends 21st and well we fancied doing some shots and well there was no shot glasses so we all walked out down the town fully dressed up ... this was taken in the eastgate basildon just outside asda


but on the more skirmishable not im going to be making a new shield for airsoft

You need the shield. It's part of the Captain America look.

If you can do metal work, old metal bin lid, cut off rims, rivet leather harness on inside, fibre glass/filler to smooth out front, paint, clear rubber laquer to protect from chips straight away. Cool.

Get special ruling for the shield to be treated as 'bullet proof' for games and then see how many leg/head shots you get as a result
