And I'm quite used to the hound upstaging me.....she can be a right showgirl when she wants to be.

Yep....OP: Swift Steel loadout. Still not too sure about the lid.........although it does give the gear a more agressive look I suppose.

Sgt BULLETPROOF, where did you get the Police shirt from? By the looks of it the POLICE embroidery on the arms is all there... I'd kill for a black polo with the embroidery intact!

Next question - OD Drop leg holster or not?

The vest has an internal holster, so it'd keep the overall loadout a bit more streamlined, but the internal holster is a bit of a pain to use; no quick draw as you have to unzip the pocket and then a velcro strap that retains the pistol.

Thoughts?

The Viper holsters are great and cheap, and anyone who says otherwise is a brand snob!

I would recommend one, having used a hidden holster on a vest before I can sympathize.

Lol its actually mine mate, genuine issue police force. I just wear it to work and when i airsoft (just incase you havnt guessed already, im a police officer :P)

I wish I could agree. However, I bought a Viper drop leg holster, and when I put a pistol in it, it just flops around and doesn't stay still. Other (slightly more expensive) drop leg holsters have thicker, more rigid straps, with a rubberised strip, as opposed to elasticated. I have normal proportions, and if anything, the straps were too big!

I like the lid, Hellfish. I have never bought one, and until recently, I've always poo-poo'd the notion. I would never wear a helmet to a regular skirmish, but I'm going to be buying a MICH from one of my buddies, and taking it to Swift Steel. If it's too hot, I'll switch back to my black beret. I'm now nearly fully kitted out for the event, so I hope to have a picture soon.

Sgt what belt is that? Did it come with all the pouches and the large dump one at the back? And also I take it that the belt has a space where you've clipped on your own holster? Cheers.

The RG vest looks very grey and the MARPAT looks mismatched with the DPM on camera, it looks better in real life I think.
No M4 though, it's in pieces at the moment.

very unique! i threw some random stuff from other loadouts yesterday and got a pretty decent result,



didnt turn out to bad, nothing was brought for the loadout at all, but i have brought a ton of patches, and i got a tan molle daysack and some new tan boots on the way and im ordering some oakley glasses soon, i think those 3 items with the kit i already got on will look pretty good, always good to be different!
