Re: russian SOBR (Special Rapid Response Unit)
Tips for looking like real Russian SOBR:
All-black loadout (OD helmet or chest rig)
AK-74M or anything that resembles a Russian-made SMG (or AS VAL)
Helmet with big-ass visor if possible.
Pouchless black bullet-proof vest.
Big muscles.
Black mask.

Re: russian SOBR (Special Rapid Response Unit)
mmm...I don't like.
the vest is wrong (and empty of pouches...), the AK is wrong model, better a 74, idem for the pistol holster, the belt, gloves...
I don't recognise a russian spetsnaz, but only a softair player!
so, we're awaiting for a better setup!

And Russians certainly don't wear Polish camouflage either

Re: russian SOBR (Special Rapid Response Unit)
You said it was a SOBR loadout, not anyone else...
Stitch counters, you're kidding right? Not one bit of this is correct. They may wear what's suits the environment, but they DO wear Russian uniforms at the very least. Before getting it 'exact' it needs to be something like.

Re: russian SOBR (Special Rapid Response Unit)
I think you'll find many different units within Spetsnaz actually wear what they find the best, but I highly doubt they'd
ever
wear another country's official camouflage, especially not Poland (considering their past).
Posting here means you'll get feedback. The title says that you are trying to do an SOBR load out, so when people tell you that your load out looks nothing like it, don't take it as an insult or have a go back. And please try to string proper sentences with real English grammar. It's not hard.

right...but russian stuff! they surely won't wear a polish jacket, OD trousers, DPM holster...and, expecially, no MICH helmet. wear a "Maska" helmet, or a "Sphera"...
your setup is 101% incorrect. please don't get angry, instead try to collect tons of photos and info about the Russian Spetsnaz ("Spetsnaz" are ALL russian special forces!), and for the single group...

And last but not least, a russian soldier will never wear a union jack....like Curelin said, take it as good advice, we are not trying to slack anyone off......but just because you have an AK doesn't make your loadout Russian

Re: russian SOBR (Special Rapid Response Unit)
It was really hard not to say "having an AK doesn't make your loadout Russian," but someone else did it for me, thanks.
At least you have room for work rather than having everything done. Makes it more interesting.
I'd also like to add that on Red Alliance forums, a lot of people would have a far less restrained reaction.

Re: russian SOBR (Special Rapid Response Unit)
Yes, I know it's SMOG in the reference picture you posted, but you'd be more accurate wearing DPM trousers & shirt. Perhaps getting an old riot helmet, removing the visor and spraying it green

Re: russian SOBR (Special Rapid Response Unit)
sorbr may not use mich's but it looks like fsb are starting to along with what looks like some american plate carriers and i hate to say it in multicam too.
am i right in saying thats a spc vest or maybe a crye cage in the above photo?
you could try a fsb current issue loadout as you might find that a bit easier. thats what i am going for.
here are some more photos to help
Rune.

Re: russian SOBR (Special Rapid Response Unit)
I was sad and disappointed in the FSB for that until I learned they only ever wear that stuff for photo-shoots and when working outside of Russia (security in Iraq and anti-drug ops in Afghan) so they aren't immediately identifiable as Russians, and so the Americans don't shoot them when when they see a bunch of dudes wearing non-NATO kit at long range.
