That's true, but I've been sticking with my Flora and spetsnaz siege-helmet of doom recently. :P

how much you pay for the maska?

      aren't they around £300 snapps a pop?

i'd love one, most i can afford is an M-60.

Not sure if that's a demo, or they just got back to base after a few vodkas

Wow, those russians look like Pirates, with the black belts and the classic pirate look buckles, and the wide trouser legs, and the head gear. not that i am calling the Russians pirates, even though that may well be true.

They look like they are at a MC Hammer themed pajama party.
And the dude with the PKM spent all his money on a gun and couldnt afford his pajama top.

                    yeah,

but on a military bases, look at what their equipment is,

                    a gun
                    a knife / bayonett
webbing for a few mags and grenades

                    that is all.

that spetz unit looks to be a very hard hitting quick in out job, not a regular slug it out unit.

but, perfect set up for an airsoft load out, so simples, and fairly easy to put together, if your wanting to do a spetz kit.

i found a shit load of old 80's soviet photos i'll put up, i used them when trying to put together an afghan kit before my bank said no.

Bought it in Russia for 80gbp. The old style one with a slit.

The Altyn ones with glass viewport and compartments for radio equipment are 115 gbp from the supplier I know.

i've read that they're meant to be worn for short periods...

Yes. It is heavy. I can manage it with no problem, though.

The day the pictures were taken, I had a heavy night of headbanging beforehand, so it was quite tiresome. I still wore it without the visor, as the weight goes down substantially when it's removed.
