Re: WW2 Ruskie infantry loadout
Loose the face mask and get some felt army boots, still very good tho mate. You just need to muddy and smash up all your kit.

at my local site under 16's have to wear full face. I'm probably going to get some proper era boots at some point.

That photo was taken at the very beginning of the first game day in the kit, it's now more muddy, has lost buttons, and is crumpled:D

Re: WW2 Ruskie infantry loadout
Oh yeah and "сапоги" or sapagy as you called them just means boots. Generic boots, so a women could go into a department store and look for these in Russia, just letting you know in case you thought the ones in the pic were the specific ones.

Re: WW2 Ruskie infantry loadout
Well I wouldn't recommend Valenki for use in the UK as you can only really wear them in sub zero temperatures. GDA/komrade already has puttees so it may make more sense for him to get ankle boots (botinki/shoes) rather than Kirzovoi Sapogi which can be difficult to find these days. DMS boots are a cheap look a like option for Botinki.

Re: WW2 Ruskie infantry loadout
dem boots suck.
suck like german ww2 boots.
they come off real easy, like when your running, in a field, getting fired upon.
BUT
they do look good.
