Tips on creating a OMOH impression

I'm thinking of creating a Otryad Militsii Osobogo Naznacheniya (Special Purpose Police Unit) impression. A lot of people I know are making SWAT kits for CQB and as I like Russian kit (I have a 1990s/Early 2000s Flora kit) I wanted to do something different.

As far as BDU I pretty much have it nailed (the blue striped BDU). However anyone got any ideas what rigs and holsters OMOH use?

OMON generally use a lot of commercial kit. They're pretty low on the pecking order when it comes to new kit so they tend to buy their own. ANA V95s, Rex Design M7s or Splav Vests have all seemed popular in the past.

simple and affordable OMON loadout:

-"Shadowcam" blue tigerstripe bdu's.
-OMON yellow back patch.
-black balaclava
-black or blue-grey vest, Rex-Design vest is recommended.

And that's it. Get a nightstick and roll an AKS-74U as a primary.

There are many different variations for OMON as they tend to change roles a lot: riot police, regular police, spetsnaz, etc.

Decided to do my own. Got my hand on some rare items. It's not perfect, but will suffice. The damn riot gear is expensive.

i had alot of OMON patches,and a full bdu set that i sold ,still got a couple of patches kicking about somewhere...i sold them coz i didnt want OHMO on my back...it looks too much like HOMO lol

I'm used to people in the UK being so unoriginal and immature to make those jokes.

Best part is that in airsoft you can beat them with a riot baton.
