Hertfordshire Free Training?
8 November, 2009, 18:31
Hey Fellas,
Is there anyone that lives in Hertfordshire that knows where there any woods to do some training and have a few laughs. Perhaps a Airsoft camping trip!
If anyone has any ideas or wants to come, let me know?
Cheers,
M . A . M .

Re: Hertfordshire Free Training?
If you want to do this, first make sure you are legally allowed to play on the land you want to do so. If its farmers land, get permission from him, and Ive no doubt there will be alot more legal gubbins to deal with.

If you aren't laughing, you're doing it wrong.

Re: Hertfordshire Free Training?
It would be illegal. If anyone were to see you you'd be carted off/shot at and airsoft would get another nail in its coffin. Sorry to be harsh but that is the crux of it.

its statements like that , that put the nails into the coffins of airsoft.
i can,t beleive you are even thinking it ,
and typeing it on an open forum.look what happened to zulu1.
come on have some common sence.no would ever do that and risk looseing all their guns etc.
and obviously you would get permission of the land owner.etc,.
we need to safe guard airsoft not leave it open to attack and give the protesters ammo
to close us down.
D,OH!,

3 months and a fine of up to £2500, for armed trespass, plus the 12 months for illegal possession of a realistic imitation firearm in a public place.

So the moral of the story is..... Go ask the permission, get permission, inform the local police WELL in advance, take every safety precaution that would be normally taken on an air soft site, Like having a dedicated safe zone.

Re: Hertfordshire Free Training?
Bloody hell gents. It was a simple question, and everybodys going gun ho on the poor bloke. Im not sticking up for the decision, because it is a bit daft (lol), but no need for some of the comments on here.
Robin, thanks for the informative reply.
The problems with conducting something like this, as said, are the legal aspects. You would need landowners permission, would need to ensure all safety precautions were taken, insurance (incase somebody got hurt, such as a walker or family pet i.e. dog), then there is the parts about RIF's in a public place, trespassing, etc etc.
No problem with the camping, just dont take the guns
You did open yourself up to it with the unofficial bit though.
