    VFC SCAR H with M203?

    hi guys

    I was just wondering if it is possible to fit a normal M203 to this instead of the EGLM?

    The weight is an issue for me as ive heard the EGLM makes the gun way to heavy to use so I think a normal M203 might be the better option?
    Has the usual 20mm Rail so thats not an issue

    a RIS mounted 203 will fit on anything with a bit of RIS long enough, I use a normal 203 on my SCAR just fine. Just as fine as some RIS cable tied to my PPSh when I want to be silly...

      My m203 is all metal, and it aint light, its all down to how much weight youre happy to use. I have a mate who plays rugby and is huge, yet thinks my m16 weighs waay too much to skirmish, im a weedy little blokey, and a 7kg gun doesnt phase me.

        I have no idea what your doing with your M16 but it sure as hell doesn't weight 7KG...the ino M60 VN fully mag'd up weighs 11... and thats a beast

          If i had a set of scales id go and weigh it right now. Last i checked, it was 6.3, and ive put more on it since. Its not 7kg, but not far off at all. Anyways, the point still stands. If youre happy to carry the extra weight, go for the EGLM. Thats what im getting at.

            Indeed, a real M16 is around 4kg and m203 is 1.4kg so how did you get 7?

              Mine weighed more than 4kg without anything on it!

                @273below: ive seen some with a barrel mount at the end, is that the one you have?

                  ACtually 7kg sound a bit much, i get a feeling my scales were set to pounds, so in which case at the mo its probably 5/6kg
