Paint thiners but just rub small amount at a time

+ 1 on that,
pop down your local auto shop or halfords and ask for some celulose thinners, or spray gun cleaner, works a treat , but smells like hell, make sure you do it out side, and wear a mask.

if it is basic spray paint then you can use fairy power spray (home cleaner stuff) as that will get it off, with a toothbrush that is. It is commonly used on plastic figures from a certain high street company. Another trick is brake fluid, but you would have to remove the plastic and soak it in a small tray of the stuff over night. A more expencive, but enviromentally friendly was to do it is to use simple green, another cleaning product.
