  • "army" combat master

basically i need a cheap gbb pistol quite soon for an upcoming game

Had a look around the HK sites and found this little thing, i cant link you obviously but its basically a mini 1911, the good part is that it only comes to £35 inc shipping to my door!!

    I have two questions, does anyone have any experience ordering things from e b a y b a n n e d.

secondly does anyone know where i can find a spare mag or two?

    cheers
    M3 shorty
    Ruger P-85
    Colt 1911A1

In the near future will be looking to add a few more to the collection, so anyone selling an MP5-K or an M249 drop me a PM

The site you mention are very good, I've had multiple items from them with no problem. Shipping time is about 7-14 days I found.

As for the gun, if Army's other offering (SA80 L85A1) is anything to go by, should be onto a winner. As for mags I don't know, maybe ask google?

Let us know how you get on, a GBB for £36 delivered is a bargain!

+1 to what "jagillham" said, although they did "forget" one of my orders once (but that is one from many).

I'm pretty sure you've found yourself a TM 1911 Detonics Clone there matey, should take (not 100%) TM Detonics mags.

      Hope that helps,

      Alex (mj23lj)

EDIT: Just realised that if you look really closely, I think you can read "Detonics" across the slide. Anyone see that?

How are you guys finding customs to be on RIF's from oversea's

I ordered one ages ago (before UKARA) and customs billed me, whats happening now with them?

If it gets pulled by customs you may have to supply your skirmish defence

If customs charged you then its VAT

Anything over a certain limit (I think it's £30-£40) is Tax'd mate, doesn't really matter what it is unless you manage to get it exempt. Then the company will charge handling fee's for holding it (I believe). And if you import often, I'm told that you can be flagged by customs and can often be charged Import Tax as well.

Again, all of the above applies to anything, not just RIF's.

Would there be taxes to pay at customs?

                      Re: "army" combat master

I have used them before for an ACOG and all was fine I did need to email them because of their stupid website and PayPants not sending them the order payment confirmation etc.

...my question re, customs was more to do with the defence, I know how VAT works etc.

What has put me off was customs seizing them and you losing out, so they send you a letter asking for your defence details? - sorry if this is off topic just checking.
