Harris Bipod vs Harris 'type' bipods
4 April, 2012, 12:06
Hi,
Any purchased a genuine one? Seem to be about £65 on eBay which seeing as non genuine ones are £30 it's not a bad price.
Any purchased a genuine one and been happy they did? Or anyone purchased a copy and wished they had gone for the real thing?
Or has anyone had both!? Also benefit of the swivle action?
Thanks

Re: Harris Bipod vs Harris 'type' bipods
I have used the Harris Type clones in the past, and will continue to do so. They operate in the same manner and work with no issues. The genuine Harris Bipods are built to a better standard to withstand recoil and the weight of a proper rifle, not a toy.
Save yourself the cash and buy clone, unless you plan to use on a gun with real recoil (so not airsoft, and air fifle or a .22).

I have a TM SOPMOD... that's 'real recoil'... right!? ;-)

Re: Harris Bipod vs Harris 'type' bipods
the mug farthest right doesn't look quite right - slightly out of line with the others
however, the SCAR looks great with the Harris-esque bipod
there's a definate trend with some people for 'real steel' or genuine operator kit, which IMO is over-the-top for airsoft purposes
