Installing a Ris to G+P M16A4

I have just bought a M16 a4 by G+P

I am wondering how easy t is to install a ris system

Been looking at some of the Daniel Defence RIS either the SOPMOD or OMEGA

I am also wanting to know the length of ris i should use 9, 10, 12 inch etc

I'd imagine it would be similar to installing a RIS set on an M4? Only much longer?

If that is the case then it should be a simple job of pulling the rings down and sliding the grips out and replacing them/

As above. Youll have to knock some pins out on the Omega though, as the G&P has the mock gas tube. I have a 12" Daniel Defense Omega rail on my M16A3. Perfect length.

Did you change the outer barrel, or basically if i order an 12 in DD Omega will fit easily enough

Outer barrel is standard Systema outer. I see no reason for the G&P to need swapping.
