Safe Trip Wires For Airsoft

Just got my grubby mitts on a Claymore! It's currently remote control, but I'd rather it ran on a trip wire. Therefore I don't have to watch it!

What I don't want to do is actually trip somebody up, or cut their shins open. Just needs to pull the trigger on the claymore.

Does anyone have any solutions for what to use?

If the trigger on the claymore is not stiff then it shouldnt do any harm!

Since you need a far amount of resistance in the wire to actualy take them down or cut them. So long as the pin is loose and the wire taught its cool!

id use black string, Or thread but you risk it just breaking instead of arming the claymore!

use a high poundage fishing line
it could work aslong as there is a manual firing switch?

The trigger on these claymores are easy to set off. the slightest touch will make it explode.

Some light string would do the trick. Problem youve got it if its to tight then someones gonna trip. I mean Maybe even a thin bit of cotton would do.

Anybody tried some kind of release pin, that breaks when pressure is applied?

Think I might have just answered my own question here. I got some normal cotton, it pulled the trigger and broke at the same time. So theoretically no trip risk!

Oh and black cotton in the woods, it's going to be freaking invisible. :D

cottons also good for the hippies.

It will bio-degrade pretty fast compared to something like fishing line

2lb fishing wire dose the trick, week enough it will brake if more than a index finger of pressure(has to be a constant) if tort but strong enough that you can have a bit of stretch in it
