  • Equipment marking pen help...

    Hi all,
    After trying to find a marker that will stay on what ever I need it to without rubbing off easily is not easy, I have seen on some peoples mags/guns a chalk like marker that is normally blue/white or yellow in colour. If someone could tell me what the pen is called that would be great.
    Here is an example of the ink on a 5.56 pmag;

    Cheers,
    X-ray

          We use a yellow fine tip pernament marker at work to do name plates on stilages.
          The only way it comes off is with solvent :P

                    I suppose since you did recommend something that does work well (just tested) you can have a "virtual" 2L bottle of vodka
                    I think if you drank all that in one go you wouldn't be able to do much more then breath let alone throw kit everywhere :P

                      the yellow one you often see is actually a paint. its used by engineers to mark surfaces and or to mark imperfections in things such as welds.
