Re: WE or TM
it depends on your price range and if you want a plastic or metal gun i would personally go for the tm as i like there hi capas over the we due to better internals

Re: WE or TM
the tm is more realible and as long as you do not intentionally smash it it will not break due to the tm well made plastic bodies it is a bit more expensive but definatly the better buy

WE Hicappa's look awesome but may not be as reliable as the TM.

Re: WE or TM
It all depends what you want the gun for.
If you want one to use to shoot at people in a skirmish then get a TM. If you want a nice heavy pistol shaped paperweight get a WE.

Re: WE or TM
Tm Are well made pistols but I have had the WE 5.1 and 7.1 Dragon versions and both are still going strong as I have passed them on to my son. No issues with wear and mags are still leak free and both guns over 3 years old and skirmished every weekend so. If you can get a Tm secondhand then yeah get one but by no means are the WE guns inferior and are well worth the cash. Please dont listen to people who make uninformed statements about the guns unless they've actually used them. I have used both and and owned both. They are both good guns but for cost you can't beat the WE. Again I say there is little to choose from them so either one is good.

Agree i have a WE 5.1 and never had a problem with it, great looking gun and fires like a dream and nice kickback on it to. I would take a WE over a TM any day of the week.

Re: WE or TM
from one of my friends, i heard that with lots of fireing, the slide can get frozen and it seems sluggish when you fire it too much?
is this true

Re: WE or TM
that is true of most metal pistols, its the cool down effect of the excess gas from firing. this is expecially prevalent in metal slide pistols due to their thermal conductivity. also, just so you now, its starting to get cooler know, and many gas slide pistols struggle in the cooler uk winters. plastic slide guns will work much better in the winter. In fact a few metal framed guns (if they havent been modified with hi flo valves etc) pretty much refuse to fire if it gets cold.
Just something to think about
