Re: looking to buy a gas pistol
kjw and hfc both make good all metal guns for less than £100 but the model of gun is up to what you prefer

Re: looking to buy a gas pistol
i love pistols and have about 8 although they are awesome in full metal they are heavy to carry round all day and use more gas than plastic frames,
glocks are simple to fix if anything breaks and are easily upgradable,
1911 are nice pistols, they have a few more parts but are cool to strip, i use a TM 1911 as my sidearm and its great, 320 fps too.
92f these are a bit more bulky but looks awesome imo
dont buy cheap metal guns the slides and frames are very heavy, i have a hfc m92 and that weighs 1.5 times more than my m92 with a guarder metal frame.

Re: looking to buy a gas pistol
to get a good pistol you really have to give up the metal body and probably go over 100 unless you buy second hand

Don't discount TM pistols, just because they're plastic

What about a WE hi-cappa 5.1 variant, most of them go for sub £100 are full metal and give 300+ fps on green and they look sweet.

Yeah but if you want to go for 'realism' a glock or 1911 ect. will serve you better

Re: looking to buy a gas pistol
I have just aquired a WE 1911. First one arrived broke, so quickly got it replaced. Internals look half decent, however i wouldn't want to run it with green for too long as it will put to much stress on the guide rails. A cheap fix for this is to buy a full length recoil guide rod. In all honestly you'd be best off going for a TM. To get the WE close to the TM i have to spend quite abit of cashola.

Re: looking to buy a gas pistol
TM dude.
if your a "noob" TM GBB's are very reliable, and don't usually need so much maintance as say a tanaka.
remember also, that not all real world guns are full metal, so neither do the airsoft additions either.
TM glocks rock.
