Re: Gas mag fix
Stop leaking when you push the plate up?
Cheapest and most effective fix....
Pro Seal Black RTV Silicone Instant Gasket
Available on ebay.
First, RELEASE ALL GAS FROM THE MAG!!!
Then poke the pins in the mag out, which lets the base come off. Use the Pro Seal to make a new seal over the old one. (Follow instructions to how long to dry etc) Then simply put back together!

I cant get the small pin out tho because you cant knock it through and i tried to drill it out last time and drilled through the mag.

Re: Gas mag fix
I have a mini screw set (the ones with the magnetic heads). One of them was just a pokey stick really, that with some pressure got it out. You can pick up these multiple head multi tools for under £10 in all kinds of places.

Re: Gas mag fix
If you've got a drill bit the same diameter as the pins, you can gently tap the pins out using that and a hammer. The slight point on the drill bit will stay in place if the pin is hollow, but if it isn't, just use the flat end of the drill bit.

Re: Gas mag fix
I don't mean drilling the pin out, just using a drill bit as a sort of stick to push it out with. Drill bits are very rigid, so will act as a punch very easily.
