Best battery for standard G&G AEG GR16 R4

Hi guys,

Thinking of getting the G&G Combat Machine AEG GR16 R4 but i'd like some opinions on what battery i should get for it, i've read 9.6v? But just wanted to know if anyone had some advice through their own experience? Also if you could share a link to one that'd be brilliant!

mine handles a 9.6v battery without fault.

I have both a G&G CM Gr16 and a CM MP5, they can handle 9.6v Nimh, 7.4v Li-po or 9.9v Li-fe with no issues.. I would advise that you avoid the 10.8v Nimh or 11.1v Lipo batts as it would be too much for standard gearboxes, may well work for a while, but it would cause serious wear and tear internally..

Just stick to boring old 9.6v batts theyll work nicely for you.

I run a 7.4v lipo and it runs like a beast.

Why use old tech ??? Get a 7.4 lipo !! Better trigger response, longer run times and lighter ,, no brainer!!!!
