Re: The awkward 'Hi.. im from the forum'
I'm not scared of anyone I recognise from the forums,
especially ones that I used to go to school with
unfortunately most people don't show pics of yourself on these forums.
Maybe we should have a pics of yourself thread in general off topic?

Well it would be completely optional obviously, but I suppose it's no different from the likes of facebook for those who want to meet up.

I already know a couple of people from the forum but don''t usually mention it at the site I play unless it comes up in discussion

Whilst I find that most people tend to recongise someone on Treadstone (Normally Keepers hair, the patches or the signature 'URRAAA', which leads to whole 'This is X, Y and Z', Ive never felt akward about introducing myself as Aeviv, as thats what all my airsofting friends call me on the field

Re: The awkward 'Hi.. im from the forum'
At the weekender 09 I had people coming up to me and talking to me all the time who seemed to know me, then tbh most of my Airsoft kit is branded with my call sign, and as far as I am aware there aren't many Airsofters out there with a beard quite like mine. heh

Obviously has nothing to do with your big rifle, or having a stamp on your forehead most times you play

To be fair, I, like alot of airsofters, have very generic kit, nothing distinctive besides the sword. Where Rampage, well, any airsofter whos been on the forums knows the members of the barrett club

Re: The awkward 'Hi.. im from the forum'
To be fair, airsofters are generally the nicest bunch of people you'll meet.
Ive had people come up to me completely randomly when I had my AK (which was rather unique, still is lol) and met a few people on here that way, its harder with airsoft as the chance of seeing a unique gun or even name (theres a fair few "stealths" at GZ!) is quite far and few between, but hey, what have you got to lose by saying Hi?!
