Custom delay quick advise please...!!

Hi

Recently I purchased some RIF item from HK. However it arrived in UK on the 4th december,since then it keep saying ''awaiting customs charging'' This has been going on for 5 days now.

Can anyone tell me what is going on?I bough spare part from HK before and it has never taken more than 4 days for custom charging but this time,they are taking their time to sort this out. Plus this is first time I am buying a RIF item from oversea so I am quite worry,the shop told me the have included my UKARA on the box but not sure if the custom see it...


Should I call and ask or wait for few more days?if I should call then on what number?

Call and ask, i have been charged storage by customs before now.
you may, however recieve a letter along these lines.

Relax, my A&K Masada was more than a month in Coventry customs. That was when these were still of dubious legality, but it turned up eventually.

You are getting a little worried over nothing. Some clear customs in minutes others a month or more. No consistency I know, but in the words of Frank "That's Life".

Lol, it's nearly Xmas, so, lol, parcel offices and customs are busier at this time of yeah hahaha. So, lol, just lol and wait a bit longer lol. It's loling to be expected hahaha

It just taken longer than usual plus this is first time I am buying RIF item from HK. Hopefully they are gonna release it soon.I was expecting to have it this weekend. By the way I paid for express postage which cost me nearly £80 lol...!!

Right so Fizzy's loosing it..

When I imported a RIF it took 2 hours to clear, guess I was lucky! (It said awaiting customs charges on the tracker also)

Now, if you'd have asked if that was worth it before you bought it, I think most of us would have said "no". While it may get into this country a day quicker, you're still going to end up waiting for UK customs and ParcelFarce to pull thier finger out, and they rush for no one!

What was quite amusing was wehn I went to pick up my parcel from the depot.. They had it loaded on hte van sending it back to customs cos of a label defect!

My friend and I managed to charm it off them..

Maybe I am nt lucky enough this time lol....well I learned from my mistake hahah....bt I couldnt find that gun in UK thats why I had to buy from HK.

suffice to say, I wont buy from HK again until the pound is super strong, its a waste of time + money for RIFS half the time

Lol I always prefer to buy from UK for RIF item and spare part from HK. But like I said I couldnt find this gun in uk lol...!!

Yeah ditto on that!


I think there are only a few that youd really have to orde from HK..

A lot of the gas ones are HK only (KSC MP9 + MP7) and the WA..

that gun was on sale in UK but then OUT OF STOCK lol....
