G&G M14 Socom Silencer

Ok so I just bought a G&G m14 socom, now I know the flash hider cant be removed so a normal silencer cant be fitted however I am wondering if anyone has tried to fit a QD (quick detach) silencer to one of these, if you have or know of someone who has how did it go? is it worth me forking out for one?
