+1 on that,
it will stop a bb and take quite a bit of force out of it

Re: neoprene masks... sufficient protection?
My wife uses one and they work very well. the only slight downside she seems to suffer is you can sweat quite a lot and also your goggles/mask can steam up

Re: neoprene masks... sufficient protection?
I had a viper neoprene mask and it was ok. Certainly offers full protection for the lower face. The problem is it just gets too damn sweaty. When i had it i was using goggles and they constantly fogged. If your using mesh then it would be ok.

Re: neoprene masks... sufficient protection?
Wife used hers today at Xsite Christmas bash and no misting of fogging up and minimal sweating This was despite the near 0 degree temperature. So I would recommend it as she suffered no facial injuries, unlike me. Every bloody time I get hit in the lip

Re: neoprene masks... sufficient protection?
i alternate between a neo mask and a shemagh and out of the two i must say i prefer the shemag as less sweating and dampness plus its a lot warmer in winter, but yes in most cases a neo mask will be sufficient
