1911 compensator, which colour?

So I couldn't find a compensator I wanted outside the US, and the places I contacted wouldn't ship them here. As a result I've decided to take matters into my own hands and make one!

My pistol is matt black and silver, the grips I am fitting are black and have gold etched into them, what colour shall I do the comp when it's finished? Black, silver or gold?

I can't make my mind up, here's a pic of 'work in progress' a mock up on just the comp so you can get the idea...

get in polished mate , or anodise it black

Yeh I think I'm going to polish it, and the small ring at the front of the barrel do gold, should break it up a little but not look too silly

Just hoping it works out ok now, will post some more pics when it's done.
