Shipping RIF'S outside the UK

Hey guys,
Dont really frequent here that often now unfortunately, and sadly im selling off all my kit. Ive got a fella interested in my gun from Europe, Hungary to be exact, and im unsure whether its legal for me to post the gun across seas. I dont want a bunch of armed police at my door for exporting firearms

So what the deal on shipping guns out of the UK, is it legal and am I safe to do it? I know that its usually the buyers responsibility to know their own laws but I just want my back protected.

It's down to the person buying it to deal with all of it. Customs don't really care what goes out, more of what goes in to the country.

I looked at posting a K98 to poland a few months back and though there didnt seem to be anything stopping me it was the postage that really put me off at about £60

I think you'd also need to check with whoever youre sending it to if its okay for them to recieve it
