Re: UKARA and m203's
Always wondered about this, I know the launcher falls under UKARA but do the Moscarts themselves?

Don't think the moscarts do to be honest.

Re: UKARA and m203's
A 203 is a copy of the real thing, hence its a RIF.
The shells are not copies of firearms, so don't.

Re: UKARA and m203's
The way I look at it is imagine it's a pistol:
- Load the firing part of the pistol, pistol mag, with bbs and gas (as with moscart). These aren't affected by the VCRA
- The pistol actually makes the thing operate properly, but is affected by the law.
Two similar systems, both legislated the same

Re: UKARA and m203's
It hasn't really got anything to do with how the operate. Pistol mags and moscarts aren't affected by the VCRA cause they don't look like guns. M203 replicas do, thats all there is too it.

Yeah I get that, it's just one way of thinking about it. It's the way I use at least.

It's got a firing pin. Technically, it's a firearm.

Launchers do, shells don't. If you go too Zero Ones website they have a Blue UKARA next to products that reqiure the defence and a green thumbs up next to those that don't.
