Trying to figure out how this fits?

As im looking to make my own Recce M4, but im struggling to figure out how it attaches to an M4 body.

The retaining ring looks too small to screw onto the body of an M4, and i cant see how it will lock the barrel in place stopping it from pulling out.

Anyone else see something im missing

I'd say the tube screws on in place of a delta ring and the rail handguard itself is then bolted to it using some or all of the six screws shown.

That is exactly how it fits, it's similar to my Noveske/Daniel Defence 10" Rail which fits nice and snug with no wobble :-)
