If you load one round into it the gas will just escape from the other holes. Fnarr.

However, if it's one where the holes are more spaced out, you could just align your chrono and load all 6 chambers, then chrono one of them.

        Why though?

wouldnt the pressure be different if it was only pushing 1 bb out rather than a full load

edit:darn tkos just beat me to it

              Re: Anyone chrono'd a M203

Not too powerful. I loose count of the amount of moscarts I've "tested" on Aeviv and he's never had welts or anything, just the odd red mark. Certaintly never pierced the skin, and this is at pretty close range using green gas, on a warm day.

Obviously as said they'll have more power if you only load one into each chamber but I doubt they'll get much past 300fps.

To get a accurate reading its impossible unless your intending to use one bb in the whole shell and thats it

no chronograph on the market can read and independently work out the fps due to the face that theres 18 to 150 bbs going through there at once

                  I'd hazard a guess at 200 FPS?

The only way to measure something like a moscarts FPS would be with a high speed camera, and some graph paper. Then you can film it from the side as you shoot it, and measure the distance travelled in the allotted time, then do the math. Simples

                      Exactly.

That's how they did the chrono testing for the Tornado grenade.

not sure of the power but i get pretty decent range on my madbull shells, only 1/3 fill them with BBs and run them off CO2 though
would say its almost AEG range

you can get pads that you can mesure inpact you can youse them for crononing real guns with them but they are very expensive
