Mate, a bit of an unrelated comment but that G3KA4 in your profile pic - is that one of yours? I've never seen one with the old ventilated handguard + grip! Looks great!

Re: S&W Model 59 ?
Seeing as both TM and I believe JG make one they are not impossible to get hold of.
Though also you could get the battery in the stock and then cut up and put a real handguard on it?
Still I agree, the classic G3 look is damn sexy.
Oh and the CZ75, so far, seems to look and shot really well.

Re: S&W Model 59 ?
But how many of those can you get now?
In fact a few on that list don't look right, like the TM gas ones, and I only recall KSC / KWA making the M945 which is a modern 1911 in all but name really.
As for the WA ones, they are just very expensive.

Re: S&W Model 59 ?
Some of them probably weren't being made anymore when you got into the sport but you can get any of them now actually. As I said in my post, some are currently produced, some are no longer in production (are being made or have been made). But each one of them listed above can be had. The KSC M659 was a copy and paste error! It should be Maruzen.
And yes, TM made a gas Model 59.

Re: S&W Model 59 ?
Is that TM a blowback?
EDIT: Just did some research, and it's TMs first ever GBB. Very interesting, no idea it existed! Looks like the magazine goes int the slide, and a gas cylinder in the grip.

Yes, but I though like the MK23 it could be an NBB with a moveable slide for show.
