Re: l85
Well then you only have one choice, the Army Armament version. AA L85A1.

Re: l85
theres only one option if that is your budget
the ARMY ARMAMENTS l85a1
however i suggest saving up another £100 and getting the STAR version
much better built and more reliable and is of the l85a2 design which is more up to date

Re: l85
New?
For £150 you won't get one.
Atleast an AEG L85.
The Army R85 starts at about £160, so it's probably a good move to get one second hand.
Although aparently Army R85's are quite poor.
Ares - I've heard nothing but good news about their L85's, same goes for ICS.

Re: l85
Aparently there are common issues with Semi auto and the blowback.
I've heard the piston needs replacing too..
Ofcourse, these are only rumours! :D
We've actaully started bitching about airsoft guns! Oh dear.

Re: l85
they are OK for the money - disable the blowback though - some people have run it without problems but its pathetic and can break easily
for the price they are ok, build quality is fair, performance is average - you can do better if you save up more money and go for ICS/STAR/G&G

Re: l85
they are great for the money the Army version's are
yes they have problem with semi but a full auot burst will sort it right out again ,
and the piston design is pants 18teeth not the 14 ones like normal
all you need to do is take the rear tooth off with a drimmel or a file so it doesn't shred it and will last for ages

i have the g&g ,constant lock up in semi from new, full auto fine.
very well made and realistic semi problem is its only flaw and very common fault

Re: l85
i had the issue with the AA version , but since tweaked the trigger bar and connections on the mech box, it only does it once per 3 mags .
