Speedloader wont load?
13 January, 2010, 19:24
Hey, my speedloader has decided to go all mistic meg on me and wont load any of my mid-caps apart from one.
When I push the plunger without any mags in it'll work fine. Sending the usual 3 BB's out but when I try to load a mag it wont push any of the BB's into the mag. It just pushes the bb's down and then they come back up. It's kinda see through so I can see it in the light. The BB's are just going up and down..
Any idea's how to fix it? Having 7 160+ round mid-caps for a game on Sunday i need this to work. Wont be able to get one before then.

Re: Speedloader wont load?
the large speedloaders tend to jam a hell of a lot, I just use the small pistol ones now but even then the cheaper ones do the same.
If you shake the speedloader when it fails to feed it tends to sort itself out. The other thing is, are your midcaps ok? Check the tabs that hold the beebs in the mag are not jammed back! Although can't see it happening on so many mags at once.

Re: Speedloader wont load?
Well not in my experience, the TM M4 magazine speedloaders shouldn't jam at all, but the KA and Dboys ones will jam all the time.
I think if you take them apart, give them a quick re-lube and then put them back together it should do the trick.

Re: Speedloader wont load?
Its a TM one because I heard about the others jamming a lot so decided to buy quality. Its not exactly jamming because it'll feed properly when theres no mag to its hearts content.
M4 sized one an' all. Took it apart a few times and back together but still not pushing the BB's into the mags. Rather annoying when I jst got my set of MAG metal M4 mids.. Grr

Re: Speedloader wont load?
Well If I remember rightly don't the TM ones come apart? if they do try stretching the spring a bit. It sounds to me as if the spring is either weak or compressed. So, while it isn't in the mag, it will feed as there is no resistance at the nozzle, but when you push it into the mag you are getting resistance from the bb catch at the top. They are quite stiff so as to hold the bb's in. So I reckon a soft or compressed spring is the problem

Could be it. I'll stretch it out in the morning, too tired to operate a screwdriver haha.

I've found the cheap M4 ones get 2 BB's jammed as if the inner tube is too wide. TM one works fine.

Re: Speedloader wont load?
It might actually be the mags. Hold the spring loaded release on the mag as much in the closed position as you can.
