Plastic SVD stock question...
9 December, 2012, 17:58
Can anyone who owns a Dragunov with a plastic stock tell me
a) if its hollow inside where the grip is and...
b) if so, is it the kind of crappy plastic that could be cut into quite deep with a craft knife
This may at first sound like a daft question, however you would be surprised that some plastics in airsoft (not very good plastics mind) can be cut into and knocked out with a simple craft knife. And in this case, that would be desirable.
If it gives anyone any insight, I would like to house trigger grouping and a battery inside the stock, namely inside the grip part.

Re: Plastic SVD stock question...
My CA svd has a hollow pistol grip and the rear of the stock is solid. The plastic feels pretty tough, you might struggle with a knife but i think a dremmel / files would work. While there is enough room for a lipo in the grip of my svd I would run into issues getting the wiring back into and down the lower reciever to the gearbox
