    AEG vs GBB

    What are the pros and cons of these? For my first gun I have got an AEG as I believed gas guns would be more expensive to use as you would have to keep replacing the gas. Is this correct? If so then what is the advantage to a gas gun?

      This is a basic overview - there are more pros and cons but its 1am and frankly i cant be bothered

      Gas

      PROS - recoil, working bolt catch that locks back when mags are empty

      CONS - need constant maintenance , you have to buy gas £10 a bottle, need to use Co2 when its cold

      AEG

      PROS - reliability, easy to upgrade, consistent performance, cheaper to run

      CONS - less realism unless you pay double for electric blow back or a systema (no blowback though)
