help identifying part in a pic - m134a project
24 December, 2012, 01:36
hey, thinking of making a one handed minigun, and the Nemesis' Minigun for res evil apocalypse seems to be a good choice, looking at a few pics, the handle for the trigger looks to me like its some sort of rc car controller, anyone have any idea what it is?
and anyone know what/ how to make the feeder belt thing that is hanging down?

The grip is custom made, the belt is standard 7.62mm feed chute.

How far have you got with this Bob?! Your making me very interested in making my own now..
Obviously will end up being one that shoots down the centre of the spinning barrels. Anyone any ideas what I could start the build with?

Ah sweet, would need barely any modifications with that. Thanks!

Re: help identifying part in a pic - m134a project
I made a non-airsoft prop version of this. Barrels spun using a cheapo battery drill stripped down, the grip of which formed the basis of the prop's grip.
Nem minigun (13).jpg
I used the connector end from a length of Floplast 110mm pipe for the holed front piece, one of their short single socket connectors would probably work too.
I also used a FloPlast 110mm Boss Pipe Sockett/Spigot (EAN: 5055149906763) for the main body.
All from B&Q in the UK.

yeah i'm shooting down the centre too, i found some drawings online for a 134a, will adapt that as needs be as i build, printed them on vinyl, then gonna stick it to abs sheet and chop it out. i'm using some pipework from b&q too. for the internals, im using an m60 gearbox inside, and a homemade drummag. the centrebarrel won't be too obvious
it was just the trigger unit i needed a soloution for, looks really familiar but cant find anything close enough. looks like im chopping it out of wood
