How long do your batteries last?
19 January, 2010, 14:13
As above.
A 1500 MAH z1 stick battery 8.4v last about 3/4 of a day in the PSG.
How much do you guys get out of your batteries?

Re: How long do your batteries last?
I usually get a full day out of a 1500mAh stick in my AK and also get a full day out of my 2000 mAh in my M249 (the previous 1400mAh battery was touch and go whether it lasted all day). My 1500 mAh lipo in my PDW sometimes lasts all day, but only lasted just over half a day at Dorking because of the intensity of the firefights

Re: How long do your batteries last?
I went the entire 06 weekender on one of those old GP 1100mah packs in my TM SG552 when what was stock, and i was well into the second bag of bbs IIRC. Other specialized systems like the PSG-1 draw more fro the battery as such you will not get as many shots per charge.
Currently my 1300mah 30c Lipo lasts me about 1/2 day at best, the internal setup obviously determining that

Re: How long do your batteries last?
In my Lr300 a 1600mah lasts the day with ease. In the M16 the 1400mah I had was just (only just) hanging in there on the last game but it was touch and go.
The M4 has a 2200mah in it so that should be fine for a full day.

Re: How long do your batteries last?
From a small 800 mah LiPo I get approx 1800 rounds.
From a 1400 mah NiMH i get 3500 ish rounds.
Both on automatic/bursts usually.
Lower temperatures (below 5 degrees c ish) can adversely affect the discharge rate of a battery - the lower the slower the discharge. And as Sniperjesus said single shotting will will increase the drain too.

Re: How long do your batteries last?
Interesting results there thanks.
Two packs will last the day on the psg and have a bit left over.
The AK is only running a stock 1100, but that seems to last most of the day, having said that I do mostly smal bursts and semi as apposed to full on auto.
I'm wondering what batteries to buy for the SL-9 that's on it's way. It also takes a stick battery, running a v3 I believe although no clue on the motor, and I was wondering if a 1500mah Z1 stick would be sufficiant or whether to get two to be sure. I think I'll get two just to be on the safe side.
