Mapleleaf Monster hop rubber?
22 January, 2013, 18:20
Anyone tried these hop rubbers out yet?
After having nothing but dissapointing results with a Firefly rubber, I needed to order a few parts, so I ordered one of these rubbers at the same time to try out in my m14. I was wondering if anyones had any success with them?
Looks an interesting design - triangular contact surface, with a flat nub.

Re: Mapleleaf Monster hop rubber?
Got these fitted last night with mixed results.
The rubber itself seems to be along the same theory as an Rhop. The contact surface fills the whole barrel window, and has a flat nub acting on it.
I first fit one into my m16 with lonex hop unit and madbul 6.03 barrel. It has a nice level flight and pinpoint accuracy, but ive lost 50fps
it must have an air leak between nozzle and rubber, so I might try a different nozzle and see what happens.
I also fit one into my TM m14 with standard hop and madbull 6.03 barrel, and is pretty impressive! Lovely flight and alot more range! Accuracy isnt quite as good as in the m16, but its still hitting a head size target at 80+ feet
