Re: Best red dot
I always vote for the Doctor sight as the only thing useful in airsoft. Im just waiting for a new one to turn up. The chinese one is okay, for £25. The first one I had was perfect. The 2nd one was too low powered to use in the daytime, it would still have been great for night games though.
The new one ive ordered is about £65 and has a sensor to adjust the brightness automatically so we shall see if its better!

Re: Best red dot
Get a genuine Aimpoint. Either T1 Micro or CompM4.
Or a genuine C-More CTAC.
Or if you really want a
BEAUTIFUL
sight, a genuine Trijicon Reflex RX30-23.
And now the reason why most people dont...
Aimpoint T1 Micro - £426
Aimpoint CompM4 - £518
C-More - £283
Trijicon - £409
Your choice. Ill be getting a genuine ACOG by the end of the year i think.
AUTHOR OF ALL YOUR PAIN.

Re: Best red dot
Find a decent Eotech 552 clone. height over bore issues aside (M4s and AKs no problem, G36 maybe a bit) they are the best thing for airsoft because they're usually strong enough not to be shot out, have a great field of view, and run on AA batteries (meaning they last forever)

Re: Best red dot
Normaly use a c-more copy but have just got a trijicon RM01 rmr which I must say is supe easy to zero in but if you go down the real steel route I'd suggest a bb shield of some kind only a few pounds but well worth for saving your top price sight

For thirty odd quid, t1 does the job. Fair ammount of adjustment. Can slap on a magnifier should you desire. My pockets are to shallow for rs optics!

Re: Best red dot
Its definately worth considering a genuine Russian Red Dot. Try a Kalinka Optics. Perhaps a Weaver PKA or PKS. Come much cheaper than other RS red dots, and will last you a lifetime(or close enough.)
