hi just a ramdom question here do thunderflash pyros count as kills or only a distraction i know this may vary depending on the site but thunderflash are much cheaper than regular ball grenades?

will vary from site to site, but the general rule of thumb means it is a kill if a player is within a given blast radius without the use of hard cover.

At most sites if it goes bang and you're within the kill radius (usually 15' or the room if indoors) then you're dead if not behind some kind of hard cover.
The definition of "bang", "hard cover" and "room" and the radius itself can of course vary between sites so really you need to ask where you're playing.

Mostly ive found it to be a kill if within 10 - 15ft of them

range can be anything from 10ft to 5 meters.
