i have some dpm knee pads, they were some cheap ones from ebay and are little more than a bendy plastic sheet with dpm gortex covering them but seem to work well and keep my knees dry which is what i wanted them for
thinks maybe he should go with the heard

The best I've used are Hatch Xtac but foolishly I bought them when I was going through the tan kit phase so they tend to stand out a lot unless I'm in desert kit.
