Tm SOPMOD high cap mag problem.
4 March, 2013, 15:07
I bought a tm SOPMOD over the weekend with 2 batteries and 2 mags.
The high cap mag appears to be in working order, but it isn't feeding bb's.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Tm SOPMOD high cap mag problem.
This might seem a silly question, so apologies if so...Have you used the winding wheel at the bottom of it to feed tension the spring that feeds the BBs?

That was not a silly question at all. It's solved my problem
The only silly thing is me
I've never used a high cap before.

Well, glad it was something simple
Just wind the wheel until you get some form of resistance, and you should also hear it click, which means it's fully wound

Re: Tm SOPMOD high cap mag problem.
When you wind it it will make a 'tick tick tick' noise, once its fully wound up it will be something like 'tick tick kerchunk tick tick kerchunk'.
Don't be afraid, you can't overwind them either.
section 24 of the 1968 Act
Supplying imitation firearms to minors
1)It is an offence for a person under the age of eighteen to purchase an imitation firearm
2)It is an offence to sell an imitation firearm to a person under the age of eighteen.
