Body repair work
1 April, 2013, 22:07
Hey guys.
Just been thinking about giving my gun a new coat of paint, but then I saw the scratches and marks that has been left on my gun. Just want to know what you guys use to fill in small holes such as those created by tool marks, before being sanded down. Btw the body of my aeg is made out of abs I believe ( hc Aug)
Thanx for the replies

Re: Body repair work
Could get some plastic cement filler from a model shop? I'm sure you can get fillers for plastics.

Re: Body repair work
What you are looking for is called milliput a plastic putty that you apply with a flat blade, give it a full 24hrs to dry, then sand.

Re: Body repair work
Milliput is fine but it dries harder than the platic bodies, so when sanding tends to be raised slightly. Personally I prefer Green Stuff for plastic bodies , Milliput or car body filler for metal.
